Karnataka Common Entrance Test KCET 2018

The KCET is otherwise called as Karnataka Common Entrance Test. The KCET is conducted by Karnataka Examination Authority. KCET 2018 is a State Level Entrance Examination that is conducted to get Admissions into Engineering, Architecture, and Pharmacy etc. Candidates who will attempt this Examination will get admission in various Colleges and Institutes of Karnataka. Counseling Process 2nd week of June 2018


KCET 2018 Application Form

The KCET Application Form were available online and was filled and submitted online. Candidates have to upload their scanned photograph, signature and thumb impression as per the mentioned specifications. Candidates must go through the Instructions carefully before applying.

Application Fees:

  1. For General Category and OBC is Ra 650/- and for Reserved Category is Rs 500/-.

  2. For candidates residing outside Karnataka is Rs 750/- and for outside India is Rs 5000/-.

  3. Application Fees can be paid through Offline Mode (Specified Bank Challan) only.

Exam Pattern of KCET 2018

The KCET 2018 Exam Pattern is as follows:

  1. The Exam is conducted Offline (Pen and Paper Based)

  2. The Questions will be Objective Type.

  3. Each section carries 60 questions.

  4. Total Questions- 230 Questions

  5. Total time duration of the Exam is 320 minutes. Each section is allotted 80 minutes.

  6. Each question carries one mark.

  7. There is no negative marking.

KCET 2018 Admit Card

  • The KCET Admit Cards 2018 will be available online.

  • The KCET 2018 Admit Cards will be released on 10th April 2018.

  • The KCET 2018 Admit card carries the information about the candidate and the Examination.

  • No candidate will be allowed to appear the Examination without an Admit card.

KCET 2018 Results

  • KCET 2018 Results will be declared on last week of May 2018.

  • Candidates can check their results online.

  • Candidates have to enter their registration details to check the results.

  • Take the print out of the result for future reference.

  • Cut-off marks will be released soon after the declaration of the results.

KCET 2018 Counseling

  • KCET Counseling will take place in 2nd week of June 2018.

  • The counseling will be conducted on the basis of the Merit List in the entrance examination.

  • Candidate’s documents will be verified in the counseling.

  • Candidates can participate in other counseling rounds if he/she is not satisfied with the seat allotment.

Documents required at the Time of Counseling:

  • 10th and 12th Mark sheet and Passing Certificate.

  • KCET 2018 Admit card and Score card

  • Two Recent Passport Size Photographs

  • Caste certificate (if required)

  • Printout of the filled in Application form

The KCET 2018 Exams will be held soon. The Admit cards will be released on 10th April 2018.
